Why does my Elo go down?

A soft reset brings higher ratings closer together for a new season. Under this published rule, personal ratings at or below 1,400 stay unchanged. This estimate changes only the rating shown here; it does not predict placement results or future performance.

Where do I find the number to enter?

Use your current personal rating in the game’s Ranked screen. For an end-of-season estimate, use the rating you expect to finish with. You can also load your account’s current 1v1 Elo in the stats workspace.

Is this my guaranteed new rank?

No. This is a rounded estimate from a published rule. Placement matches change your rating, and future seasons may change the rule. Use your in-game result as the final answer.

At or below 1,400, the rating is unchanged. Above 1,400:

1,400 + (old Elo − 1,400) ÷ (3 − (3,000 − old Elo) ÷ 800)

We round to the nearest whole number; the publisher’s announcement does not specify rounding. This tool covers personal 1v1 / 2v2 ratings. Team and legend ratings have different rules.
