BRAWLPOP STATS GUIDE /

Most wins or best win rate?

The legend with your most wins may not have your highest win rate. Both can tell you something useful, as long as you keep the number of games beside the percentage.

Three questions, three different lists

Who have I played most?
Sort by games. This describes where you have spent your matches, not how long each match lasted.
Who has earned my most wins?
Sort by wins. A familiar legend can lead this list simply because you have played them more.
Who has my highest win rate?
Divide wins by games, then compare the game counts. A higher percentage from a tiny sample is fragile.

A small example

Eight wins from ten games is 80%. Sixty wins from one hundred games is 60%. The first percentage is higher, but it represents far fewer games. One more loss would change the first record to about 72.7%, while it would change the second to about 59.4%.

These numbers are an illustration, not a player’s results. They do not prove either legend is better. Opponents, modes and practice can differ.

Use the same scope

BrawlPop separates Ranked 1v1 from All modes. Compare two legends within the same scope. The API does not establish an exact time window for every total; “All modes” is not a promise that every match in your account’s history is represented.

Why the default is 20 games

Legend Lab starts with a 20-game filter to make very small samples less prominent. Twenty is a practical display filter, not a statistical guarantee. Show all reveals every returned played legend. Sort by games, wins, or win rate and inspect the underlying record.

A useful check in your own roster

  1. Find your most played legend.
  2. Find your top two legends by wins.
  3. Compare their win rates and game counts.
  4. Use Show all to see whether a small sample changes the apparent winner.

Methodology: wins ÷ games × 100. Read the API scope and missing-data rules.
